  • Well, it has been quite a long time since I posted here. I am very well, and so is little sprout!! He's gaining weight and thriving in such a spledifferous way. Going to start the job search again soon. Right now am getting back into the swing of a regular day as far as getting up and getting to bed and doing STUFF and such.  I will post a more detailed update soon.

  • and so i am now feeling a lot better. not quite 100% yet, but worlds better than a couple days ago when i couldn't breathe out of my nose. unfortunately, now bbm is going through the worst of his. his sick is different than mine was. he has a very sore throat and swollen glands without all the nasal congestion that i had. i hope in a few days he will be feeling better.

    i have a paper to write and i'm just not into it. i had been putting it off all week because i just wasn't feeling well...and now i think i have a slight case of writers block. it doesn't help that there really isn't much research to be done for this papers topic. if there were, i would feel like i had more to go off of. i'm finding it a bit difficult to get four pages out of my thoughts on the matter (why we need a union at my imaginary company.)

    i have to go back for another blood glucose test on wednesday. apparently my levels were a little high. now i go in at 8am, drink the stuff, and they take my blood every hour for three hours. i'll be there a long time. blah.

    things are okay though. bbm's birthday is coming up. (!!!) i'm begining to plot. there's a movie coming out that he really wants to see, The Watchman. maybe we can go see it either on his birthday or the day it comes out, which will be a few days before. i have an idea for something i'd like to get him that i know he's been wanting.

  • well, raw was absolutely incredible!! as was ecw...they film it during raw you see. some of the coolest parts were seeing them scramble to stall for time when jamie noble got hurt, seeing dreamer break his losing streak, and meeting the boogie man! he touched me!! he patted me on the back. bigbluehubby shook his hand. i was a bit awe struck at the sight of him so close...plus i had my right hand over my belly. i wasn't feeling so hot by the end of the night. so i didn't shake his hand, but it was SO COOL to be right next to a wwe superstar!! wish i had brought my camera or thought to whip out my cell phone really fast. oh well. it was great. i can't wait to go and take little sprout with us when he's old enough. i think it's safe to say he'll love wrestling too. being pregnant and sick was kind of a bummer. bbm was worried about me. we stood in line for about an hour and a half to two hours waiting for them to open the doors and start scanning tickets. that got to me more than i ever thought it might. i was surprised when i started to get light headed and had to sit down on the floor. after we got seated i was fine for a while, then my belly started bothering me. mostly stomach acid, i think. that and the fact that my medium sized maternity jeans are actually getting a bit tight. they are usually not uncomfortable, but with the extra bloating and not feeling well already they were bothering me. i went to walmart today and bought a couple pairs of sweat pants. i made sure to try them on and sit down in them and stuff. they're nice and roomy. much better.

  • happy 2nd wedding anniversary to me and bigbluemachine!!! i am a little under the weather, but it's just a head cold and not enough of a bother to keep me from being really really excited about tonight!!

    this past saturday we went to a gathering of sorts. it was at an apartment complexes clubhouse. a group of changeling players together to watch a movie and then play for a couple hours. me and bbm didn't stay to play, but the movie was AWESOME and we got together a great concept for a pair of characters. the movie was "repo, the genetic opera." GREAT film. you should see it. and our character idea is that we were one being in the begining, then when we were abducted by the fey they did crazy things to us the one. then us the one somehow managed to escape thier clutches back to the mortal realm but without our shadow! now we are two seperate beings, both changed by the fey folk who captured us as one, both knowing at different levels of conciousness that something is missing. something very important.

    2) Who are you dating? i am blissfully married to my soul mate
    3) Where do you work? currently unemployed
    4) Where do you live? same freakin' town

    6) Do you talk to your old friends? nope, not a single one of them
    7) How many piercings do you have? only still use the two. i let the labret and they eyebrow close up a while ago. want to get my navel pierced one day.
    8) How many tattoos? two, unless you count the paw prints separately, then three
    9) What kind of car do you have? 2006 kia sportage
    10) Had your heart been broken? not since i was a kid, guess i toughened up, and now i am thankful that i don't have to worry about it anymore
    11) How many kids? one on the way. and two cats that might as well by children to me and bbm

    13) Glasses/contacts? both, usually contacts but sometimes i'm lazy. and bbm likes me in glasses so...sometimes for him.
